Tirupati: The spiritual ambiance of the temple town is set to reach new heights as the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) gears up to celebrate the Sri Ramanujacharya Avatara Mahotsavams. Organized under the aegis of the TTD Alwar Divya Prabandha Project, the festivities will be held with traditional fervor from April 20 to April 22.
The three-day event will take place at the Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati. TTD officials have confirmed that all arrangements are in place to ensure a seamless experience for the devotee
Event Highlights
The celebrations are designed to be a blend of devotion, literature, and music. Every evening from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, the venue will host a variety of programs:
- Literary Symposiums (Sahiti Sadassulu): Scholarly discussions on the life and philosophy of Sri Ramanujacharya.
- Spiritual Discourses: Eminent speakers will delve into the saint’s contributions to Vishishtadvaita philosophy and social equality.
- Devotional Music: Melodious renditions and bhajans to immerse the audience in a divine atmosphere.
Honoring the Great Reformer
Sri Ramanujacharya, the great Vaishnava saint and social reformer, holds a significant place in the history of Tirumala. These annual celebrations aim to propagate his teachings and the essence of the Divya Prabandhams among the younger generation and visiting pilgrims.
